UPSSSC Assistant Accountant 2026 — Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
You must be an Indian citizen. Candidates from other states can also apply under the General category.

Educational Qualification
You need a graduation degree in Commerce (B.Com) to apply. Alternatively, you can have a Post Graduate Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized university.
You also need an ‘O’ Level diploma in computer operations from a government-recognized institution.
You must have a valid score card from the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET 2025). The board will short-list candidates based on this score.

Selection Process for UPSSSC Assistant Accountant 2026
Stage 1 — PET Shortlisting
The board will short-list candidates based on their PET 2025 score. Only 15 times the number of vacancies per category will qualify for the main exam.
Stage 2 — Main Written Exam
A written test of 100 marks covering Accounting, Computer Auditing, and Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge. Duration: 2 hours. There is a 25% negative marking for wrong answers.
Stage 3 — Document Verification
Show original academic certificates, PET scorecard, identity proofs, and category certificates.
ℹ️ NOTE: Final merit relies entirely on the marks scored in the Main Written Exam. PET marks only serve as a qualifying gateway.
