SPSTET 2026: In a major and sudden development for teaching professionals across the state, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has released an urgent official statement on March 6, 2026. The board has officially withdrawn with immediate effect the notice regarding the conduct of the Special Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (SPSTET).

Candidates who were scheduled to appear for the Special PSTET examination on March 8, 2026, must note that the exam stands postponed. Candidates are advised not to travel to their respective examination centers on Sunday, as the test will not be conducted. The next date for the examination will be notified by the department in due course.
