Punjab Teachers Transfer 2026:The Directorate of School Education (Elementary), Punjab has officially issued a public notice regarding the transfer process for teachers under the Exempted Category.
As per the notice, eligible Primary Wing teachers can submit online transfer details from 12 January to 18 January 2026 through the ePunjabSchool portal.

What Has Been Announced

As per the official notice issued by , the following has been announced:

• Transfer process under Teachers Transfer Policy–2019
• Opportunity for Exempted Category teachers of the Primary Wing
• Online-only submission of transfer-related details
• Fixed time window from 12-01-2026 to 18-01-2026

Who Is Eligible

This notice applies to Primary Wing teachers under the Exempted Category, including:

• ETT (Elementary Trained Teacher)
• Head Teacher (HT)
• Center Head Teacher (CHT)

Eligibility is strictly as per the notification dated 26.02.2024.

Online Application Window

• Start Date: 12 January 2026
• Last Date: 18 January 2026
• Original Deadline: 18.01.2026
• New Extended Deadline: 21.01.2026Portal: epunjabschool.gov.in (e-Punjab School Portal

Applications must be submitted only through the employee login on the ePunjabSchool portal.
Offline applications will not be accepted.

Modules to Be Filled Online

Teachers must complete the following mandatory modules:

• Update General Details
• Update Results
• Update Service Record

After completing all modules, teachers must click the “Approve Data” button.

Important Instructions for Applicants

• Teachers must upload valid supporting documents related to their exempted category
• Requests without documents will be rejected
• After uploading, documents must be downloaded and verified
• If a document does not download, it must be re-uploaded correctly
• Data can be edited multiple times till 18 January 2026, even after approval
• No changes will be allowed after the deadline

Service Record Clarification (Very Important)

Primary Wing teachers who have served in multiple zones must ensure:

• The total service shown across zones matches total service in the Education Department
• Any mismatch must be clearly explained in the Remarks section
• Requests without proper justification will not be considered

ACR Requirement

• The ACR for the year 2024–25 will be considered
• If ACR for 2024–25 is not available, the previous year’s ACR will be taken into account

Station Choice Notice

• Station Choice option is not included in this notice
• A separate public notice will be issued for Station Choice later
