The School Education Department, Punjab, has released an important update regarding the ongoing recruitment for 332 posts of Special Educator Teachers (Master Cadre). Following the completion of document verification, the department is now ready to distribute the second phase of appointment letters.
This comes after the first phase of letters was successfully issued on December 19, 2025. Candidates who have been waiting for their turn in the merit list should check the details below carefully.
When and Where to Collect Letters
According to the public notice, candidates whose eligibility has been finalized by January 1, 2026, are called to collect their appointment letters in person.
Schedule for Collection:
- Date: January 3, 2026
- Time: 10:00 AM
- Venue: Office of the Director of School Education (Secondary), Punjab, Sector-18-B, Chandigarh.
Documents Required
Candidates must appear physically at the venue; sending a representative is not permitted. It is mandatory to carry:
- Valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID, etc.).
- Relevant documents used during verification (it is advisable to carry the original file).

Important Warning for Candidates
The department has issued a strict instruction regarding the timeline. No appointment letters will be issued after the scheduled date and time.
- No Extensions: Requests for a change of date or time will not be entertained.
- Responsibility: Candidates who fail to collect their letters on January 3 will be solely responsible for any consequences regarding their joining.
Candidates are advised to reach the Chandigarh office well before 10:00 AM to avoid any last-minute rush.
