Punjab Pre Matric SC Scholarship 2026 update: The Department of Social Justice, Empowerment, and Minorities, Punjab, has announced a revised activity schedule for the Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste (SC) students for the ongoing academic session 2025-26.
In a memo directed to all District Welfare Officers, the department stated that the timeline has been updated to ensure the convenience of students, educational institutions, and departmental officials in completing the scholarship process.
Key Dates for Students & Institutes
Students and school administrations must note the following deadlines to ensure their applications are processed successfully:

| Last Date for Institutions: To forward complete cases (Fresh & Renewal) to Approving Authorities after corrections. | Dec 29, 2025 |
| For Approving Authorities: To send online proposals to Line/Sanctioning Departments. | Jan 05, 2026 |
| Final Submission: For Line Departments to send proposals to the Social Justice Dept. | Jan 12, 2026 |
Action Required
- Students: If you are an eligible SC student and haven’t applied for your Free Ship Card yet, you must do so before December 15, 2025.
- Schools/Institutes: School heads are instructed to clear all pending corrections and forward the fresh and renewal cases to the sanctioning authorities by December 29, 2025, to avoid any lapses in funding for the students.
