PSTET Result 2026 Update:The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has officially outlined the timeline for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026. With the written examination scheduled for March 15, 2026, the board has set the expected date for the declaration of results as April 2, 2026.

PSTET 2026 Qualifying Marks (Cut-Off)

Unlike other competitive exams where the cut-off fluctuates based on the number of candidates, the PSTET has fixed qualifying marks. Candidates must secure a minimum percentage to be declared “Pass” and receive the eligibility certificate.

Note: Candidates must score exactly or above these marks. Even a score of 81 for a reserved category candidate will result in disqualification.

Certificate Validity: Lifetime

A major relief for aspirants is the validity period of the PSTET certificate. As per recent NCTE guidelines, the PSTET Eligibility Certificate is now valid for a lifetime. Once you pass the exam, you do not need to re-appear for it to maintain your eligibility for teaching jobs, unless you wish to improve your score.

Once the results are declared in April, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website: pstet.pseb.ac.in.
2. Click on the link for “PSTET 2026 Scorecard” or “PSTET Result 2026”.
3. Enter your Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.
4. Click “Search” or “Login”.
5. Download the scorecard and print it for future reference.
