The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has officially released the notification for raising objections against the Provisional Answer Key of the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET). The written examination for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 was successfully conducted by GNDU, Amritsar, on March 15, 2026.
Candidates who have downloaded the provisional answer key and found any discrepancies or incorrect answers can now officially challenge them. The board has activated the objection link inside the candidate login portal. Candidates must submit their grievances along with valid documentary proof before the strict deadline of March 19, 2026 (5:00 PM).
Official Rules for Raising PSTET Answer Key Objections
Before submitting your grievance, please read the strict guidelines issued by the SCERT office carefully:
- Strict Deadline: The window is open for only three days. No request for filing an objection regarding the provisional answer key will be entertained beyond March 19, 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Mandatory Proof: You cannot simply guess or claim an answer is wrong. Objections must clearly indicate the grievance and must be uploaded in the specified structure along with necessary documentary proof (e.g., standard NCERT/PSEB textbooks or official government documents).
- Expert Committee Review: Any objection raised by a candidate will be put forth to a duly constituted expert committee of the Examination Conducting Authority (GNDU, Amritsar).
- Binding Decision: The decision made by the expert committee after reviewing the proofs will be final and binding to all stakeholders. No further objections will be entertained at any level thereafter.
- No Second Chances: This objection window is strictly for the Provisional Answer Key. Once the Final Answer Key is published, no further grievances will be accepted.
