Physical Fitness Test (PFT) Requirements
The physical test is crucial for the final merit list. Marks are awarded based on performance groups.
- 1.6 KM Run:
- Group I (60 Marks): Within 5 Min 30 Sec.
- Group II (48 Marks): 5 Min 31 Sec to 5 Min 45 Sec.
- Pull Ups (Beam):
- 10 Pull Ups: 40 Marks
- 9 Pull Ups: 33 Marks (Decreases for lower counts)
- Qualifying Tests: 9 Feet Ditch & Zig-Zag Balance (No marks, just qualify).
- Physical Measurement:
- Height: Generally 170 cm (GD/Tech/Tradesman) / 162 cm (Clerk). Varies by Region.
- Chest: 77 cm + 5 cm Expansion.
