SCERT Punjab has officially released the schedule for the State-Level Orientation Workshop for newly promoted English and Commerce Lecturers, to be held at RICM, Chandigarh starting February 3, 2026.

Official Schedule & Batch Details

The Director, SCERT Punjab, has issued orders to all District Education Officers (Secondary) to ensure the mandatory attendance of newly promoted lecturers. The workshop aims to orient staff for the academic session 2025-26.

Batch-wise Schedule:

  • Group 1 (English Lecturers):
    • Dates: Feb 03 – Feb 04, 2026 (Tue-Wed)
    • Districts Covered: Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Fazilka, Mansa, Sri Muktsar Sahib, SBS Nagar, Roopnagar, Malerkotla, Kapurthala, Patiala, SAS Nagar, Sangrur.
    • Total Participants: 66
  • Group 2 (English Lecturers):
    • Dates: Feb 05 – Feb 06, 2026 (Thu-Fri)
    • Districts Covered: Amritsar, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Tarn Taran.
    • Total Participants: 65
  • Group 3 (Commerce Lecturers):
    • Dates: Feb 09 – Feb 10, 2026 (Mon-Tue)
    • Districts Covered: All listed districts including Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar, etc.
    • Total Participants: 40

Important Instructions for Attendees

  • Mandatory Attendance: District Education Officers must ensure all listed lecturers attend their respective slots.
  • Logistics: Participants must make their own arrangements for travel and stay. No accommodation will be provided by the department.
  • Timing: Lecturers must report punctually at 9:00 AM at the venue (RICM, Sector-32, Chandigarh).
