Mission Samarth Punjab:SCERT Punjab has issued an official order for two-day block-level training of upper-primary teachers under Mission Samarth 4.0 from Jan–Feb 2026.
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has issued an official order for conducting two-day block-level training of Upper-Primary teachers under Mission Samarth 4.0.
As per the order, the training will be conducted from 20 January 2026 to 07 February 2026 across the state.
What Has Been Announced
According to the official memo issued by , the following directions have been issued:
- Two-day block-level training for Upper-Primary teachers
- Training to be conducted under Mission Samarth 4.0
- Implementation period fixed between 20 January and 07 February 2026
- Responsibility assigned to DEO (Secondary) and DIET Principals
Who Will Participate
The training is mandatory for:
- All teachers teaching Punjabi, English, and Mathematics
- Classes VI to VIII
- Teachers posted in Middle, High, and Senior Secondary Schools
- Applicable for academic session 2026–27
School heads have been directed to ensure 100% participation of eligible teachers.
Batch Size Instructions
- Maximum 45 teachers per batch
- Not more than 50% teachers from one school in a single batch
- For single-teacher schools, alternate arrangements will be made with approval of the District Education Officer
Resource Persons
- Upper-Primary District Resource Persons
- Must have already undergone State-level training
- Will act as Resource Persons for these sessions

Venues will be finalised jointly by DEO (SE) and DIET Principals.
Observers and Monitoring
- Key and State Resource Persons (Upper-Primary) will act as observers
- Observers will submit feedback reports to the Head Office
- Observer duties will be assigned by District Education Officers
Facilities to Be Arranged at Training Venues
The following arrangements are mandatory:
- Projector and speaker system
- Stationery and activity material
- Drinking water, tea, cleanliness
- Generator, chairs, and tables
Expenditure and Funding
Approved expenditure includes:
- ₹50 per person per day for management and tea-water
- ₹50 per person for stationery and activity material
The expenditure will be booked under EDS-92 (Mission Samarth) in SOE-18.
Funds will be released to DIET Principals shortly.
Record Maintenance
- Complete records of the training must be maintained by the concerned DIET Principal
- Micro-planning and venue selection will be done jointly by DIET Principals and DEOs (SE)
