These instructions are applicable to candidates appearing for the board exams, including Class 10th and Class 12th.

Extra Reading Time for All

According to the latest guidelines, all candidates will be granted additional time before the start of the exam.

Relief for Candidates with Disabilities (Divyang)

The board has announced significant concessions for candidates suffering from disabilities such as Visual Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Dyslexia (Specific Learning Disability), and others.

  • Extra Writing Time: These candidates will be provided 20 minutes of extra time for every hour of the examination.
  • Scribe Facility: Eligible candidates can use the assistance of a scribe (writer) as per the board’s norms.

Scribe Rules: The board has emphasized that the qualification of the scribe must not be higher than that of the candidate. For example, a Class 12th student cannot have a graduate as a scribe. All formalities regarding the approval of a scribe must be completed before the exam begins.

Important Date: EVS Exam

The notification also highlights a specific date for the Environmental Studies (EVS) paper.

  • Exam Date: The EVS examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2026.

Candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the examination discipline. Any violation of rules may lead to strict action by the board.
