The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (PSSSB), has officially activated the PSSSB Group D Correction Window 2026 for candidates who applied under Advertisement No. 08 of 2025.

Originally, online applications for various Group-D posts (including Sewadar, Chowkidar, Sweeper, Mali, Beldar, and Library Attendant) were accepted from November 21, 2025, to January 5, 2026. To accommodate candidates who made inadvertent errors during registration, the board has released a public notice allowing a one-time modification. If you need to update your personal details, category, or re-upload your photograph and signature, you must utilize this facility between February 25, 2026, and March 3, 2026.

Candidates must strictly adhere to this timeline as no further extensions will be granted.

What Details Can Be Edited?

According to the official notice, the board has permitted candidates to edit several crucial fields. You can log into the portal to correct the following:

• Candidate’s Name
• Father’s Name
• Date of Birth (DOB)
• Gender
• Category
• Incorrectly uploaded Photograph
• Incorrectly uploaded Signature

Crucial Rule for Category Changes (Fee Difference)

If modifying your “Category” results in a higher application fee than what you previously paid (e.g., changing from SC/ST to General), you are required to pay the difference.

1. Payment Mode: The difference in the fee amount must be paid via a Demand Draft (DD).
2. In Favor Of: The DD must be drawn in favor of the ‘Secretary, Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab’, payable at Mohali.
3. Submission Process: This Demand Draft must be submitted by hand at the PSSSB Office (Van Bhawan, Sector-68, SAS Nagar) along with Annexure-A before March 10, 2026.

How to Edit the PSSSB Group D Application Form?

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go directly to the official PSSSB website at https://sssb.punjab.gov.in.
2. Access the Online Application Section: Click on the “Online Applications” tab and find the link for Advt No. 08/2025.
3. Log In: Use your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth to access your dashboard.
4. Make Corrections: Carefully navigate to the fields you wish to change. Ensure new photos or signatures meet the required size and clarity guidelines.
5. Final Submission: Once edited, submit the form. The board explicitly states that the last submitted form during this window will be considered the final and authoritative application.
